The Palette brings colors to 3D printers
By : The BossMost 3D printers on the market today can only print one color. A company based in Canada want to change this scenario and developed a device that allows you to print in four colors.
The color palette acts as a link between the 3D printer itself and the fibers which are the raw material that makes the printer. This system is compatible with most 3D printers on the market which operate with a 1.75 mm filament, regarded as a standard, reports Engadget.
The solution of the palette was created by Mitch Debora, Chris Labelle and Derek Vogt, the Canadian Mosaic Manufacturing company. This unit is designed with firmware and open source software and is collecting funds on Kickstarter, as many of the projects involving 3D printing. The extension costs about $ 900 for the first wave of supporters. A 3D printer that already support deep color costs about five thousand dollars, as the 3D cube Systems Pro C.
The video below explains further the concept of the palette.

Sound waves to control iPhones
By : The BossThe researchers created a system that uses sound waves and physical buttons to give commands to the iPhone.
The system developed at Carnegie Mellon University by the name of Acoustuments in a mixture of acoustic and instruments. Researchers scheduled an iPhone to constantly emit an ultrasound and made into a 3D printer, various buttons, levers and keys to stop the sound. In the end, it was only set up the iPhone to recognize the different interruptions and make each interruption would trigger an action, such as turning off the alarm or decrease the volume, for example, reports Mashable.
Investigators allege achieve 99% accuracy in this type of control. For Disney entered this project and developed an interactive doll with face iPhone and using the Acoustrument technology to interact with the user.

I'm also very tired of all those talent shows we seem to be inundated with every weekend. You will therefore forgive me to watch the following video first round time with a general lack of interest.
